How to grow out short african american hair?
okay, so obviously, im african american, & my hair has been short for as long as i can remember. i want to grow it out. LONG. really badly too. how long will it take? what products should i use? any tips? what should i do with my hair? thank you!
You could get extensions, but if you want your hair to be naturally long, just shampoo and condition it every day. Avoid anything that can cause damage as much as you can. Vitamin E supplements help, and also what I have found helpful in growing any hair out is to wet it, right before you shampoo and condition, and massage warm olive oil into your scalp and hair. Depending on how long you want it to be, it could take years to grow out. I got my hair cut very short about a year ago and I have only gotten it trimmed a couple of times since, but it’s still only down to my shoulders.
